They will say I am broken, They will say I am bent. Though after all they have spoken, Not a word leaves a dent. I am more than my gender, I am more than my face. God I wish I could tell her, It’s okay for her heart to race. For so long I have lied, For so long I have hidden. Here’s to the nights I’ve cried, Because I’m no longer guilt ridden. To those who think I’m broken, To those who say I’m bent. Look at what you’ve awoken, See all the wasted time you’ve spent?
