There is a stranger looking

Location

There is a stranger looking at her in the mirror.

She stares back, dark, wet hair.

Her face- a mask of nothingness- but her eyes, filled with the deepest, contained sadness.

Face, red and stained black with mascara.

She looks lost, scared.

She goes on, though, with a dagger in her chest.

Pressured and hurt- so many times- in so many ways.

She hids the hurt throughout the days, under her invisibility cloak.

Happiness surrounds her friends, yet she's lost in darkness

and she goes on.

Unable to see where she's going, where she's headed.

Uncontrolable sadness, confusion, hurt, and pain...

What else is there?
