Is there really a heaven?

A god we know is there

Must we behave every second

Use our whole lives to prepare

Or can we possibly miss a day

Thinking that time will just stop

Letting our minds and actions go astray

Behaving like it's our earthly lives that are on top

It'd be impossible for everyone to believe

In my heart I know I do

The key to the pearly gate I hope to receive

But have it be slipped in the pockets of my friends and family too

For i would never want to go alone

To the place where my Father sits on his heavenly throne
