There is No Gray in a Black and White World

Fri, 04/04/2014 - 17:07 -- stooped

Green and Blue

Are led into the room

Old Man Evil

Sits atop his wooden throne

The Mallet of Justice

In his dark grip

“You there!”

He turns to blue with a glare

“You are worthless!”

“You are useless!”

“You are filth!”

“Away with you!”

He cries at Blue

Blue’s dirty, hard working face

Is contorted as if sprayed with mace

“And you!”

He turns to Green

With a radiating gleam

“It was a mistake”

“You did not mean to take!”

“Be free!”

He chimes to Green

The horrible smirk on Green’s face

Had found its narcissistic place

The same crime

Yet Blue does the time

The Mallet strikes down

While Blue whimpers on the ground

Blue is dragged away

Never to fully experience another day

5 years

10 years

20 years go by

and Blue continues to live in Evil’s lie
