Thanks For the "Education"

Location

Education... What is it really? Where it see  ms like I'm learning so much, yet not learning anything at all. Eight hours a day, five days a week and I know nothing... By nothing I don't mean air and a black matter of space, by nothing I mean weak substance. I learn no life values, nothing that will increase my common sense, nothing that will give me a legitimate stable future. Thank God that know how to graph a polynomial function, but not once did I learn how to file for life insurance. I'm sitting in class for four years and never was I taught how to pay a bill, or file for financial aid for college, but I'm skilled enough to know where X is. Teach me how to raise a family, teach me how to file taxes, teach me how to properly make a living, how to invest, teach me what to teach the future generation, because as an educator you're doing a pretty crap of a job. You believe we should hold a certain amount of responsibility, because with age we should learn, but what are we learning. How to keep a book in a locker? What about keeping a baby from crying, or keep it clothed, or fed? A baby is far more complex than a book ask a teen mother who was supposed to learn "responsibility". I can tell the Sine or Cosine of a triangle, but how do I manage a credit score, how do I buy a house, make investments? There are all theses standardized test, test that teachers give, but not one test is testing us on the real subject, life! We learn life the hard, cold, naive, narrow-minded, mediocre, ignorant way! Due no teacher educated us for it, no teacher gave facts throughout the day, everyday helping us prepare for life, because life is for the truly educated. Life is the true test for teachers. How much did you really teach us? If you taught us so much then most us would be pushing through life with our heads held high, ready for all its test and lessons. And not getting the slap of reality every time we step into the real world, because our minds were controlled and conditioned to structured frame of the educational system, and the world's roots run far deeper than that. You can't get an A in life like you do in Science class, because life doesn't have a grade-point system, it has a class system, and you don't earn it by good grades and homework, but by someone teaching you the ways of life. That is a real teacher, that is an educator, and whoever is in the highest class didn't need to learn the atomic number of Fluorine to get there. So every day I sit in class, learning nothing
