Thank you,Mother

Thank you, Mother

The greatest gift you have given me are my sisters and my brothers

How many times have you lied to protect us?

A day didn't pass by that when we didn't make a fuss

Never did you every let us see you cry

Knowing we would always ask you why

Yesterday, my sisters father slapped you

Oblivious my siblings were and never knew

Unkindly the world treated you because you had us kids

Many times have you broken down

Obtaining breakfast, lunch, and dinner so we wouldn't frown

Telling us to work hard so we can have a better life

How can I tell you that you're efforts can never have a price

Everyone should be reminded how special their mothers are

Really hoping that one day I'll make you so proud because you are like a star

A symbol used to indicate a category of excellence

So once again I say...Thank you,Mother
