Every day is a struggle For most it's a routine Motions like the clock Any thing out of place Causing a ripple That eventually becomes a new habit A new routine. But for him It wasn't just a routine It was a paradox Nothing ever made sense He never got why paper was more coveted than touch By another human being Or why smiles made him smile Or why death Was like a drug And every dance he had with his razorTouching his skin As red velvet seeped though That was his fix No he wasn't crazy He just needed proof he wasn't in a stimulation That he wasn't living someone else's life Everyday is a struggle But for him The struggle wasn't being in routine It was being out of sync with the universe Being the ripple effect And the fruit of knowledge That no one dared to bite. - Shy
