Tell Me

Is it fair for me to love you?

Me, a young soul, tender at heart, but man everywhere else.

Because as I cling to this love for you my dear,

Someone else, in the unconsciousness, the unawareness,

The prediction of my mind and knowledge, lies a sweetheart,

Whose intention is to know me, to find me, to have me.

Is it fair for me to love you?

Is it fair for her to love me, when I love you?

Some reap what they sow,

Some want to reap where there is no sow.

Have I sowed at heart to reap,

Or do I wait to want to reap what is not sowed?
