Teenage Romanticism

Tue, 08/27/2013 - 21:18 -- EmmPhD

We can not neglect what was never finished,
Dwelling loose ends that could instantly catch fire...
We are liars,
Liars, if we believe that ignoring something for long enough, we will forget the once beautiful feeling.
So the tears will glisten with my Heart's yearning wishes,
Of that person, who is so far away,
But instantaneously returns--and all my fear melts away.
I want him,
I want what I shortly experienced.
I'm better than I was before,
No longer bellowing my mother's chords.
I promise, we would have the time of our life.
Maybe, maybe even one day--no, never mind...
