Teacher, Oh, Teacher

Teacher, oh, teacher, how you make me weep

Every night I get less and less sleep

You torture me with dull tales

My mind is going off the rails

Teacher, oh, teacher you're killing me

Oh, what I would give to just get up and flee

I know you just want me to learn

But this amount of work is a bit of a concern

Teacher, oh, teacher I do appreciate you

I just wish there was less things to do

I have a plethora of things on my plate

Maybe it is my birthday and I want to celebrate

But, teacher, oh, teacher you do not care

As long as I show up, even with just a blank stare
