Teach Me Please

Location

Semester starts, we head to school

Eager for what we’ll learn

As weeks go by we realize

We may not get our turn

Every day we wait in class

But you are always late

When you show so little care

Then failure is our fate

No class order, no lesson plan

You don’t even lecture

We teach ourselves what we can

But still we are unsure

Reading off a power point

Is not a good technique

Make learning fun, excite our brains

Challenge is what we seek

As the end of term draws near

And more than half will fail

You want to seem a good teacher

And curve the grading scale

When term is done we ask ourselves

What is it we’ve gained?

Without your guidance, teacher

Success won’t be attained
