Teach Me How to What?

It’s in with the new, not the old, and society keeps fading away,

I can see it in every student, every mind, and its everyday.

We’ve become immune, in tuned with technology we bare,

To afraid to say anything, for it depicts to us a scare.

Our cellular device is our best friend,

Will social media, such as Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram be our end?

Countless hours and time spent on such a disease,

That corrupts the minds of acquaintances that never seem to cease.

A class on “How to start Small Talk,” you ask?

What happened to the person I knew before you put on this mask?

Slowly, but “awkwardly,” we are seeping back into the reality we once knew,

Full of surprises and joy, wonders and extremity, and things we once use to do.

As media and numerous lines of technology move along, so do we,

For as we progress and make small steps, we find inside commutation is the key.
