Teach to Learn - Learn to Teach

A boy in the corner of class

Sits and texts,

Comes to school without

His backpack.

He lounges back in his chair

No purpose,

No drive,

To simply arrive there-

To simply let his mind die there.

This rotting matter

How long it shall fester

There, in the crook of the room,

This miscreant, this jester,

He complains of school.

A girl reclines in her desk

She sits and texts,

Comes to school lacking

Her texts.

She rests her head

Too bored,

Too tired,

Simply waiting there-

Simply wasting there.

This decaying matter

How long it shall loiter

There, in the back of the room,

This ingrate, this foiler,

She ignores education.

Inspire passion

Leave an impression

Teach those students-

Those students who

Sit and text,

Without educational context.
