Tea.

Sun, 09/14/2014 - 14:47 -- Skoves
I have a million sentences
Brewing
Swirling in my minds teapot
Spinning in circles,
Steeping
Waiting to be poured
Out
Into your cup,
In your direction.
It is fear that holds it all in
The cork in the end of a tea pot
Refusing to allow my thoughts to rise to the surface
Spill softly into your awating
arms
tea cup
Lap
I am terrified at the thought of sharing these swirling words
Sentences
Ideas
Hopes
Thoughts
with you.
What if you don't connect
What if you don't understand
What if you do

To all of the above
What if I wake in the morning next to
You.
Again.
Again
And again
Knowing that I have
stopped
fleeing the scene
Stopped
running, for control
What if I find that you compliment me in more ways than just the curvature of your body has lead on to.
What if this is more that I expected it to be.
I expected nothing.
O, you are something, something indeed.
I can feel it
Feel you
In my gut
Heart
Subconscious
Minds eye
I can feel the tiny bubbles forming
A rolling boil in the future
Molecules rushing
The water is turning
Steam forming
Thoughts, soon to presurize my
Mind.
Mouth.
Heart.
