Taking flight

Broke my arm

after he stomped on me,

then I went home

And was called a freak.

I faked a smile

Around my friends.

Then cried alone

waiting for it all to end.

As I stand on the rooftop

I scribble a note

the last words that I ever wrote:

Day by day

I'm being hunted

but at least you got

what you wanted.

I'm sorry mother

I can't come home.

No longer will I cry

alone.
