Taking The College Path

Tue, 06/25/2019 - 14:54 -- DariC

Ever since she was a little girl

She wanted to know how to succeed in our world

They said in order for you to slay

College is the way

So the girl put her foot in the door

She said college will allow her to soar

She doesn't have time to snore

Since sixth grade

She played the college game

Honors Classes since day one

Ap Classes was her home run

High School: her time is running out

She said she has to get this college clout

Signed Up for College Board

Had to keep up with her SAT scores

She said colleges needed to know her name

So She continued to play the college card game

Updated her resume

It showed that she wasn't here to play

Junior year, here's the home stretch, Senior year she did the final math

That College is her Path
