Sweet like Strawberries

It slides down the throat

Forgotten and sweet

Hidden by darkness

Surrounded by light

Rose petals are shamed

There is no better grace

Red fruit frozen, ice

Twirl silver with fingertips

Hear the clank of emptiness

Strawberries hidden by chocolate

Surrounded by vanilla, creamy

Someday Strawberry icecream will be the one
