sweet and bitter

Sometimes I don't think I'm getting to you anymore, usually when I can see the words going in one ear and out the other and back down to the floor where they probably belonged to begin with. I don't think you hear the words I actually speak but instead twist them with a purposeful dyslexia that in no way resembles an innocent learning disorder but a malignant, dark motive, sometimes I think you don't even care to try sweet instead of bitter but if bitter is your sweet then I suppose those words can just keep going in one ear and out the other and onto the floor because that's what they deserve anyway.
