The Superhero with the Heart of Gold

His name was Tony and he lived in the slums,

Worked at an Italian Deli with a lot of other bums.

He was orphaned but found a family,

Working at the local cat shelter just around the corner.

Tony was worth his weight in gold

And only the silence heard his good deeds told.

Tony could only watch and sigh

When crazy mad people flew by

Seeking riches and fame.

But Tony sought the finer things in life

Reformatting video games

For the orphanage around the bend.

And Tony’s gold heart

Continued to grow.
