Summer Storm

When sadness comes over you like a sheet
And cold dew starts to form upon your feet
A biting chill of wind begins to roll
As evening skies churn purple, pink, and gold

Just look upon the the shadows of the trees
Strong giants here'll support your life with ease
A tickle at your toes brings forth a smile
To see fields of silver starlights run for miles

Don't catch a cold from sitting in the mud
Just dance away the madness in your blood
A rush of cloud pours swiftly from your jaw
And eyes that can't stop weeping from it all

Libations for those lost ones in the dusk
Bring stinging, scalding rain on those who trust
A bath to cleanse away all trace disease
And a dawn of blissful joy and bended knees
