Summer days they only last so long
We try to enjoy them before they’re all gone
Remember nature’s most beautiful ways
Brought to us by the most wonderful summer days
They never cease to amaze

Sun shines brightly through the trees
The calming feel of the summer breeze
The fields and the pastures gleam
Walking barefoot through the stream
Heaven on earth it seems

The smell of fresh flowers in a meadow
Glistening waters have a special glow
Sunsets are like happy endings
Summer, it’s a brand new beginning
Surely worth all the time you’re spending

Summer nights so lively, so rare
Spent wild and free without a care
Many fireflies are sparkling
Crickets and bullfrogs sing
What a wonderful time it brings

Lay in the clover look up at the big blue sky
Watch the puffy white clouds go by
Let the time go slow in all the possible ways
For all these times are just a yearly phase
Brought to us by the most wonderful summer days
