Summer (about the seemingly endless days)

The sun's rays singe me,

as i sit there thirsting,

wondering why this would happen,

it's devastating,

the disaster,

that replaced laughter,

the wind no longer gently blows,

but howls,

from the pain,

nobody would gain,

Thinking of the people,

they didn't know,

nobody would show,

how this happened,

so fast,

just last,

summer.
