A Summer’s Day

It all happened during a summer's day

We went to the beach, and drank grape soda

It was July, with the feeling of May

We met a person her name was Dana.

She showed us around the entire beach

We swam in the water until sun down

We got home late, and the house smelled like bleach

Something was wrong, she needed to leave town.

Something was off, and my mother was gone

Dana was running, sirens were wailing

I finally realized what went on

Dana did it, a stabbing, a killing.

It was then, it was instant the strong hate

Dana was a devil, a true inmate.
