Suffering of a Mother

Suffering of a Mother

Why do you love me when all I do is make you suffer?

Is it because of a title that the world has placed upon you

So called a mother

What does each letter means

That your love is so unbreakable, incomparable, and unreachable

Your sacrifice to me

Is

Your shredding skin bled out

Your soft meat beat down

Your strong bones worn out

Your youthful days all gone

Why, oh aching soul?

You forgot about your dreams so that my dreams can be a reality

You forgot about your prestige and status so that I can  rise in beauty

You protect me as a shield knowing well that I can see you cry

But

All I’m hoping for is to not let you down.

That is my love to you.
