Submissive

Location

Rip off the mask on my mouth,
So I can speak like no one else
The way you stare makes me timid.

I wish I could live without a filter,
Rather be talking about night rides
Than your pretty, little Barbie dolls.

When you're around, I'm submissive.
I be who you want me to be,
Than who I really am.

I wish I could live without a filter,
Rather be living a bright life,
Than standing still like a scarecrow.

Don't you see this pain?
I can't live life my own way;
I'm too scared to loss control.

I wish I could live without a filter,
Rather defy the word of man,
Than not live the way I am.
