Studying to be a Medical Assistant,

I try to be persistent, 

As I strive for this position,

I am going through this condition.

Though this tumor will not stop me,

Many people will disagree,

But I will not stop until I get my degree,

Because a nurse is what i'm meant to be.

Although this tumor is in my spinal cord,

The doctors say that it is under control,

I will get on my knees and pray to my Lord, 

So that I can achieve my goal.
