We pray for those that died with need,
From the hands of those with selfish greed.
We can only hope for times of great prosperity,
But can't because of our brothers in dreaded poverty.
Only a picture of a nation within our deepest memories.

The giants look down to see the countless struggles,
Of those who sweat and endeavor their deepest trouble.
But when the laboring voices demand for a just declaration,
For nothing less but an ear for their crying deprivation.
In desire to make amends in the coming centuries.
