Strictly Business

Beside the road, a man dressed to impress

Walking toward the most frightening legend

He puts away the fear, that mind has no time for stress

For he must not back away from this offer

Inside dull gray walls he sits

Mumbling words of encouragement

He shouldn’t have trusted this client, he admits

For this abandoned place is a bit eerie

Next to old machines and rusted down toys

Falling to the ground was an old doll's head

He backs away and says, “What was that noise?”

For the man had heard a giggle

Through every bench, shelf, and work table

Searching for the object that fell

He decided to leave, surely he was able?

For he had began to retreat

Past dusty machines and melted plastic

Hoping he could go home soon

He knew that once small things happen, they turn to something drastic

For he had started to run

On top of a conveyor belt as shiny as a knife

Leaving now was not an option

He could only squeak as it jolted back to life

For his body was stuck in its grasp

Across the metallic belt, flesh was torn from bone

Dripping blood and mangled body parts sloshed

He was ripped to pieces by the blade that belt owns

For this place does not care for visitors
