Stress, It's the Norm

Watch out,

It’s lurking around the corner,

Ready to pounce with the worst timing ever,

Almost imminent in society,

Stress.

Stress, yep you guessed it.

Essays and reports pile on my desk, not enough time

Parents yelling, it’s the bills again

Crowd goes wild, I missed the basket again

Friends give dirty looks, I’m sorry it was an accident

The idea of college, creeping up from behind

It all builds up

Like an avalanche ready to fall

Stress

I’m stressed

You’re stressed

We’re all stressed

Living in a world with a corrupted norm

Sometimes, just sometimes

If you take a deep breath

And spell stressed backwards

The results can be as sweet as desserts
