the grass tangles around my toes causing a chill down my spine

the soft chill of the earth brushing against the bottom of my soles,

reminding me of the cold ocean that lives in your eyes 

i want to set my feet in the depths of your deep blue soul

oh how my feet were so tired without you

as the waves of your heart spill into your eyes,

my feet will finally find the strength to stand

my feet will travel from your ocean eye to your lava lips

to your sand skin and your blushing hands 

i will use my feet to stand with the strength you have given me 

stand on your snow white feet 

stepping off again into the sweet grass that embraces me

again into my own strength.
