(Repetitive struggle
Overrated & overused looked now as a cliché
Harsh realities bundle

Looked over by society, but 99% are society
But others look around & find rebuttals
99% are blind to me

Guilty fingers pointing
But don't care to reminisce
At the conflict they once were living

Ones who can't seem to remember ignorance was bliss
Ran into peer pressures arms
Who pulled them in but got out quick

Working hard was how you mad it
But when some fled the forgot
Success overruled it

Usually a Negroes battle
Relates to the emotions about the crystal stair of Langston Hughes mother
Ghettos chattel
