Strawberry Blood

Wed, 12/10/2014 - 02:01 -- kb97

Location

She watched the shampoo run down the drain in rivulets of strawberry blood.

She stood and thought and tried not to think of the things that are and the thing that was.

She stood and thought and tried to forget the thing that lurks right beside

Her memories of school and friends and everything she left behind.

Because

Even though it was

It shouldn’t have been.

Because

Even though it shouldn’t have been

It was.

And

there’s

 no

 use

 trying

 to

 change

 it

now.
