Strangers in New Horizons
Hello…
I don’t know you-- you don’t know me.
How about we bridge the gap of strangers?
Surface level smiles-- restrained gestures
Cover up a wealth of complexity that lies in what is unsaid.
Gradually space closes-- carefully stories are told.
Chips arise within the composed persona revealing underlying emotions.
The stories told-- the interactions
Shape my view of the world and the people within it.
The stories told-- the interactions
Are all I have left as I once again leave for new horizons.
