Story of a Boy

Encroaches the force

Whether light or dark

The rider on his horse

The words that mark

Dread is shown

Heavy is the air

Empty is the throne

Terror to the heir

All life is coarse

Known to none

Told by all

All life has a course

Strength from the ashes

A phoenix to rise

Honor to earn

Pride to burn

A son to live

A father to die

Loss is eternal

Motivation is fleeting

Chains to bear

Chains to break

A new world to dare

No piece of cake

A journey ahead

A fork behind
