A Story About a Girl

Wed, 04/27/2016 - 20:30 -- kahente

She's dead and gone

and resting in peace.

Heart and legacy passed on,

but her soul will never decease.

Lived a life cleaner than ever,

she will be missed.

Never met a young girl so clever,

though her life was dissed.

Laid down to rest,

no more being down.

Tried to make people happy; but she was depressed,

though still always acting like a clown.

She was a strong voice,

with so much to say.

Although was silent by choice,

she liked it that way.

Her passion was writing,

pencil in one hand; eraser in the other.

She found it so exciting

and took after her grandmother.

She played sports to clear her mind,

it was the only real get away

A place where she could unwind,

right up until the skies turned gray.

She was dedicated to her sport,

through rain or shine

as her life did distort,

her presence to games did decline.

It's too bad nobody understood

that she wasn't even stable.

Kept her head held high and thought of the good

and "quiet" was her label.

She's even lucky she got to meet the love of her life,

though he's now a widowed.

He still considers her his wife

as it was his vow.

It's too bad she left so soon,

She will be missed by her family.

So sad she didn't get to see her baby in full bloom,

her gone is now insanity.

Before she closed her eyes for the final time,

she lay with her family in a moment so bittersweet.

She has known the end was coming since summertime

and when she left, her family is no longer complete.
