Stormy Weather

Stormy weather comes with the lighting that flashes, but never strikes

The thunder that cracks, but inevitably fades

The wind that pushes, and almost wins

The rain that drenches, and weighs her down slightly

But never enough

The elements of the storm fail to stop her

She knows never to stand in the storm

She knows to not fear the lightning, thunder, wind, or rain

She knows to let go of her mistakes and keep moving forward

No matter what storm others have in store for her

Because she knows just like any other storm, this one will pass
