Stories In My Head

When my person is forgotten

When my body is rotten, dead

I'll still live on forever

Through the stories in my head

They have strong, brave people

They have weaker ones as well

People who are good, evil, neutral

Living on earth, in space, in hell

All of them are beautiful

Each in their flaw, in their strengh

They change like the seasons

As their stories increase in length

I imagine them every day

What they do, what they say

They fill me with joy and life

As I follow their story's pathway

I'll write them down on paper

Then draw on a couple more

Combining the two mediums

I'll be remembered forevermore

But if I were to lose them

The stories in my head

Only then would I be

Completely, wholly dead
