Stories

An imaginary world where nonsense reigns

Can enlighten a mind and free it from chains.

Childhood is made of adventurous days;

Old memories linger like honey-sweet glaze.

Love at first sight is not always the case;

Love often grows in an unexpected place.

In a galaxy, darkness dominates with might;

Rebels and knights must battle for light.

A child’s eyes can plainly see

That an innocent man should always go free.

A soul that is gentle but firm and sure

Is grounded in God, joyful and pure.

Though evil is cold and strong and cruel,

A lion’s love will finish its rule.

A creature given a task, though quite small,

Can be more heroic than one who stands tall.

God does not need great muscles or smarts;

He only asks heroes to have pure, willing hearts.

Those who do good may not get a fun story;

God asks them to suffer and die for His glory.

Some ignore evil and deny their great plight;

Truth is not comfortable but it always is right.

There are many who crave power and rage,

And those who aren’t wary end up trapped in a cage.

Redemption is offered to killers and thieves,

To anyone who stops at the cross and believes.

A pilgrim persists through heat and through cold;

The narrow path leads to the city of gold.

Stories are more than tales from afar;

They often determine the people we are.

So dive into that world, and though it may not be the goal,

You may emerge from it a slightly changed soul.
