When a group of boys is out-numbered by their friend group,

the roaring white noise of higher-pitched

voices rise up and over-

come the choices that the

stereotypically 

logically-framed minds of men have chosen.

But the ideas that are drowned by the wave of

din end up being the ones that were grounded all along

the bottom of the torrent, forming the base for the towers

that scraped the sky and flew

right over the heads of the girls that imagined their plans would come to

fruition.

And then, the humble foundations bow even further down

in self-esteem

and admit the mistakes that the girls had made as our own.

 

And they say we live in a man’s world.

 

Yes, a man’s world where guys aren’t allowed to hit girls

yet

girls are seen as powerful and successful when they hit guys.

A man’s world where collaboration is key to solving problems

yet

women are always right and men are always wrong.

Man’s world where arbitrarily insulting males is welcomed

yet

insulting females is left at the door, likened to cultures from centuries ago.

 

Some girls even get excited by these facts.

Happiness when they imagine taking revenge

to a new level on males to “pay us back” for what

we did to them in the past before they were born

to grow up learning in textbooks

about the horrible treatment of women by men.

Glee when they get the upper hand

higher than their male counterparts who do have counter parts but not counter minds.

Pride when any male-depreciating joke is recited, agreeing with every word.

 

Ever heard of mass hysteria? It’s

funny that a discrimination that has been at the top of the social ladder for so long is now

falling into a lower caste, but it’s not so

hysterical when whispers for female equality become enraged shouts for male-subjugation.

 

I believe that both genders should be equal.

There won’t be any

inequalities: greater than or less than.

X, X and X, Y are on the same

plane. And you won’t need to

prove that your thoughts

intersect on the same

points, because everyone’s

lines of thought will be

inconsistent with everyone else’s in the

system. But our equality will prevent us from

sloping back into our old, arrogant habits.

 

This is for the males:

the men who have lived under the

rule of thumb that women are the necks that control every part of the

head of the family,

the boys who were taught that girls are better because they were made last-

ing from a Man’s rib,

the guys who have thoughts but also have

girlfriends who don’t appreciate the facts and tend to

the fiction that behind every great man is a great

bunch of bullshit that many people call Femenism.

 

This is for the females:

the women who give men their support.

Keep it up.

the girls who force boys to submit.

Cut it out.

the gals who see guys struggle and do nothing.

Take a stand.

 

This is for all others,

feeling oppressed by a majority.

My situation may not be as dire, but

know that there are those around you that also

know your circumstance and

know the road to freedom starts with the courage

To Be Heard.
