Stay or Jump?

Location

I stand on the cliffs rough edge,

A pack of wolves gathering behind me,

And so I have a choice,

Just one simple choice:

Stay or jump,

Jump or stay?

If I stay, I'm eaten alive

But what will I find if I jump?

Will I find cool, calm waters,

Or will I find rough, raging rapids?

Will I find safety

Or just another form of death?

So should I jump?

I may be damned if I do,

But I'm sure as hell damned if I don't,

So I'm stuck at this impasse:

Damned if I do,

Damned if I don't.
