Stay with me

Stay with me.
For my heart will become a bitter place without you.

You have taught me what happiness is
and have guided me towards everlasting bliss.

And when you leave me,

it will be like the ocean during a stormy day.

The wind blowing fiercely,
thunder striking somewhere far.
And I will hope it carries my insecurities, fears,

and the distress that I have become away.

But when the storm has passed
and has carried us apart.

Hear me as I scream from the tops of my lungs,

into your lost soul.

As you soundly wander

To the quiet thumping to your lost heart beat.
And I hope that you wonder back to me.
And I hope I show you how to live again.
How to feel pain again,

How to love the way I love you.

And in the night,

when you are exhausted.

Exhausted from this chaos.

I’ll hope that you’ll dream of the times we spent

And I hope one day you'll love me

Like a love no one's ever seen
