Stay afloat

Stay afloat

Jeremiah 16:18

18 Before I restore them I will punish them in full for their sins and the wrongs they have done.

For they have polluted my land with the lifeless statues of their disgusting idols.

they have filled the land I have claimed as my own with their detestable idols.”

The body and soul

are the preserve of Satan.

He just walks in and out

whenever he feels like it.

He comes and he camps

in places of his making,

which are very many

with names a bit like him.

The river flowing through the preserve

is filthy and so smelly.

Its name is iniquity

and is filled with decay.

All the human misery

is floating on the surface.

The roaring of the sewage

overpowers the cry of hate.

As storms of life are raging

on the fallen race.

The river keeps on swelling

far beyond its banks.

It seems, if not stopped,

all land be overflowing

and all will be swallowed up

by the everlasting stench.

No boat can stay afloat

and everything is drowning.

All are blind and confused,

this should never be.

The “silly” Noah’s from our day

just keep on preaching

with a dedicated life

for everyone to see.

A lighted Ark lifted from the dark

is totally blocked in.

No way to get into it,

the way is sealed by Christ.

The Lord still invites day by day

for folks to get on board,

before all land overflows

and the last storm seeks its prey.
