Starlights

All is written for the world to know;

whether or not they read it.

Like a candle or torchlight,

with unceasing glow;

one only need spark it.

To quote Pilate-

''what I've written is written''

Feelings, dreamings, lessons in life-

like how to recover from losses and strife

i write for myself,

to prove it can be done

a poet,

a writer,

a fighter to the end

from dusk to dawn,

day unto night,

my pen will skate

under any light

For words make up every step of the journey;

a journey only you can take;

a story only  you can tell.

your words can be a window to the world,

a portal into peace, or oblivion.

why do i write?

To remind the world of what really matters,

the things which man oft forgets.

A vocation I daily dream of-

with fears of abashment, regrets

a man is rash, perhaps

thinking his words will matter.

only meaningless rabble;

a scribble of ink, hardly dried.

But no man or woman

knows the limits of flight,

til they've seen every star

written under their lights...
