Stardust

Dear Zach,

Although we are miles apart,

you are always with me in my heart.

Seasons change, I'm not okay,

but darling our stars remain the same.

I need you'r help for I'm not myself,

my heart is laid on you'r bedroom shelf.

Bridges burn, tables turn,

but darling our stars hold no concern.

I look and my creations seem so small,

I hang them up along the wall.

Paintings die, my tears turn dry,

but I watch as our stars light up the sky.

I lie here restless every night,

without you here my world's not bright.

Excpet the stars, they're all I see,

I hope they still remind you of me.

Love,

Shelby

The stars will seem the same to us all, no matter where we are from!
