Standing Myself

Location

It comes without effort

Yet it takes so much effort

With the light it becomes burdensome

In the dead of the night is where I find comfort.

Around noon everyone seems to "care"

I love what I love- never will I apologize!

I am who I am, don't feel like changing

Not for those who do not matter

Let me be or set me free,

Free from the grip of society,

The grip that holds me so tightly,

So tight it begans to suffocate me

The moon seems to be my only friend

For the moon is the only one who truly understands

The sun is much to pessimitic

only seeing the obesity in me

Why is it my peers stare?

I am not apologetic for my flaws

I can stand myself today 'cause-

This is me naturally!
