Stand by me my child
Take my hand
Never let it go
You'd been through a'lot
Never knowing
What fear was before
You brought so many stories
From your journey alone
Yet so little to tell
To many to share
You gave me a smile
Told me that you
Would be fine
Thus my little one
Say it now
Tell me what you want
I am here by your side
Stand by me my child
Take my hand
Never let it go
You'd been through a'lot
Never knowing
What fear was before
It's been a while since
I last saw you
And I wonder
Where you went
You left without a warning
Disappeared in an instant
But now that you are here
Standing infront of me
I can finally embrace you
Within my arms
Hear your heart beat
Against my chest
Thundering love
Strong embrace
I loved you when you were near
Loved you more when
You were gone
Though I wish I can hear
You speak for one more time
I wonder what you may be hiding
In that curious small mind
Stand by me my child
Take my hand
Never let it go
You been through a'lot
Never knowing
What fear was before
You seemed frighten
When we met
Out in the wide horizon
Under the blistering sun
There was fear within your gaze
Empathy written
All over your smile
Though I promise
As long as I am with you
I shall never let you go
You are my child
Therefore I will protect you
There is nothing to fear
Remember that the past
Will never be near
It is all over now
Let it wash away
Look forward into a new day
Stand by me my child
Take my hand
Never let it go
You'd been though a'lot
Facing the dark all alone
Never knowing
What Fear was before
Throughout all these years
Since you disappeared
I been waiting for you
Hoping to see my son again
Thus you never came back
Feeling guilty for losing you
My life was in vain
Trying to hide the pain
Though today everything
Has changed
From the darkness
That once used haunt me
To the light that existed long ago
God praised me with a gift
My fears and pain
Suddenly died away
It was a miracle
A true relief
That was good to be true
You returned to me
Making my heart stop beating
The moment you said "I am home".
