Stained Glass

Behind this stained glass wall

I see you.

Broken and alone

Behind the color and perfection.

Countless times,

I have tried to break through,

But unfortunately

The glass can only be broken from your side.

Yes I know,

It seems impossible.

Yes I know,

You don't feel strong enough.

But strength

Isn't always physical.

Strength

Doesn't always come from your fists.

Sometimes,

Strength comes from words

and just possibly

creativity.

And in this moment

When you are trapped behind a stain glass wall,

Your strength must be just as colorful, yet fragile

To break away from the glass that holds you.
