Spread My Red.

Location

I live in a land where the flag speaks red

A red that gives pride and shelter until my end

Yet to my Friends  red Bends to displaying the Bloodshed

Of their countries

Living through the darkness of the dead

“Syria’s bombings left my house in shreds

And for This  I Missed grandpa’s Kiss before his last breath”

“Problems in Ukraine are peaking its worst

And my father’s business might be taking a turn”

I admit, I do not know the feeling

But I live through my friends and I get the meaning

We talk about peace and a violence decrease

Yet how do we do that when the weapons do not cease?

I strive to see an ending to this beast

Of weapons killing the innocent that weep

So that my friends can soon live the dream

Of believing in the same red as me.
