Spoken Silence

Wed, 07/11/2018 - 18:13 -- Paige04

Many things I have been taught by the eloquence of words

most important and the same overlooked… I need not speak to be heard.

I need not kill with a weapon of war, only smite with the unblunted power of my creations...

to strike a blow at the heart of your passions

to fight for something so hard it is blown beyond oblivion.

I need not relieve or release my anger through physical exertion and plain indecency,

Only through my hand with liquid tension where with each completed word comes powerful strikes of purpose where retaliation would be vain.

I am indivisible in my words

They will bring liberty to the unliberated

Justice to the unjustified.

I don’t need a voice to be heard

I don’t need to enlist to be a soldier

I don’t need a weapon to fight

I need only a language.
