Splintered

You think you have more time than you have when you really have none at all

When you procrastinate, you are then forced to make decisions with your back to the wall

Why does it always take so much time to do things the right way?

Yet, things can go straight to hell in a moments notice, tomorrow or even today

Moving, illness and death are awful, they will make people become Splintered

Spintered, it's a harsh cold reality, like the God-Awful dead of winter

Splintered if you waste too much time being apart, you won't get that time back

Then you will end up dwelling on what you could have done differently in the past

You take too much for granted when your parents are healthy and still around

You try to make things right but when things go wrong, you don't understand why and how

You try to do the right thing but that doesn't always work out the way you want it to

People will react badly to a bad situation, no matter what you say and do

You and I are now forever divided by living in different states

I tried to make things easier but I just didn't have the right words to say

You fell into another guys lap because he was conveniently close to you

You told me that he was the one with no regard that I cared about you too

Life is never perfect but now the situation is what it unfortunately is

You try to make the best of it even though it is not quite as good as it could have been

Spintered, an icy cold reality, as the harsh God-Awful dead of winter

It's one of the most difficult things in life when you and your loved ones are Spintered

Spintered, the girl you love now lives in a different state

Spintered, your immediate family moves very far away

Spintered, illness changes the personality of those you hold dear

Splintered, missing family members that are no longer here
